ulead used to have a techinical support phone number but it is temporarily unavailable perhaps due to the recent changes in the company.

I don't see how it could be the drive subsystem's fault. This is a U320 RAID-0, capable of sustaining 100MB/sec of video stream playback. If it was a SATA RAID, you might have a point, since SATA RAIDs are not capable of sustaining high data rates when the drives fill up.

Besides - I normally use the IDE system drive for encoding the files, and I've never had a problem. I used the RAID to test whether there was a problem (like a DMA fault) with the IDE drive.
