I have never heard of burning via a lan connection. Too many issues and transfer speed can be very low depending on lan settings.

If you are serious about this, I would recommend to get a burner for the other machine as well and forget about lan.

Assumming you have MS networking installed and know how to share
and map drives/folders:

In the disc creation screen of MF create an .iso image file to be burnt
to dvd. Either copy that .iso image file to the computer with the
burner and burn the iso image file or from the burner machines map
to the iso image file on the network.

Like stated above burning across a network can be tricky but that
depends on your burning software. Deselect burning "On the Fly" so the
software buffers the data onto the local machine.

Of course, you could also just copy the whole ISO image, or, even better, the DVD folders with their VOB files, over the network to the machine with the burner and burn from there.
