When I try to import from my dvd (camcorder) I receive this message on one of the sections: Cannot import DVD-VR - capture failure. Perhaps the DVD is damaged, or it has copywright protection. (15200:23:2) (15065:12:1)
This section is not at the end of the DVD, and the DVD plays fine. Please help! Thanks in advance!
Error - cannot import dvd-vr
Your camcorder uses a DVD, rather than a tape, right? Did it come with software to convert the DVD files to "regular" MPEGs?
Some other users have had difficulty with DVD-VR too. So, search the forums for "DVD-VR", and maybe you'll find a solution.
I had a troublesome VOB file recently, and I found a program called SUPER (FREE!!!) that could convert the VOB to an MPG acceptable to the Ulead programs. This was a long, time-consuming process, and I had to use a couple of other programs to extract the audio from the VOB... not something I'd want to do with every DVD from the camcorder.
