I downloaded the trial of photo express 6 but it doesn't work. I started with creating a new calendar, but when I tried to apply a template to a photo, my PC's CPU went up to 100% and I needed to kill ulead process using the task manager. It always happened, I also tried different operations but the behaviour was the same. I have Windows XP with SP2 on my PC, I think it could be a compatibility problem, but I really would try the new version, it seems to me more complete and more user-friendly than the previuos. I also downloaded the photo express 4, but I have only one template for a topic, it seems to me an incomplete trial.
Do you have any suggest to allow me to work with the version 6? I can't change my OS and I can't try it on Win2000 platform.

I downloaded this today and it is working fine.
It may be an idea to make sure the processor is set to run best for programmes rather than background tasks, it is probably set to automaic at the moment.
You will get faster graphos and better results using the main memory for running programmes and will find less crashes, also things like Folding at home can use loads of your memory causing crashes and freezes if tryig to run a heavy useage prgramme like a graphics editor.

I downloaded the trial of PE6 here and in my house... same pc, same SO, same soft.. but in my house works and in my work dont work... i can't start the PE6... I have tried the compatiubility with win98 and nothing...

I have similar problems. The PE 6.0 trial fails on my home computer totally, it actually crashes when it displays the selection of photos.
I have XP SP2 and I must say I have quite many programs installed, but PE 3 works (version 4 does not display itself...). I wonder why PE is so sensitive to some other programs?

Problem with Photo Express 6
I downloaded the trial of photo express 6 but it doesn't work.
After the installation, the program starts the first time and working.
When i close the program and try to start it again, i take the massage:
"Ulead Photo Express has encountered a problem and needs to close."
When i uninstall the program and install it again, it happens the same.
