With Version 4, can you set the dual layer Break Point?
I have created a Dual Layer DVD-Video with a break point using Gear. The disc plays fine in my Pioneer A09 DVD burner, but when I try to play it on 3 different Sony tabletop players I get skipping around and past the dual layer brake point.
I am using DVD+R DL media. Will DVD-R DL media be more compatable with the Sony players?

Dual Layer Break Point
moviefactory automatically selects the layer break.
as far as i know, the playback on layer break is not 100% seamless specially on DVD players.
DVD-R has a higher rate of compatibility with DVD players.
for DVD+R, you can change the booktype to DVD-ROM before you burn it (using Nero).... if your DVD burner supports it. The only DVD burners I know that have bitsetting is LG, Ricoh, LiteON, benq, and NEC. Im not sure with Pioneer though.

Who? Me?
To see if the recorder supports changing the booktype in Nero:
With the media inserted and mounted in the recorder:
From the Main Menu goto "Recorder" -> "Choose Recorder"
after you select your recorder at the bottom of the screen
click on "Options".
If the "Booktype" can be changed in will showup in that screen as
a dropdown option.
