Under Audio you should be able to choose between LPCM, MPEG and Dolby Digital. The last-named is one implementation of AC-3. I assume you have downloaded and installed all the updates?

My problem:
I "Create a Video file" in MediaStudioPro 8 which has Dolby Digital 2.0/Stereo. I bring this .mpg file into DVD Workshop 2 and it won't play the audio, just the video. If I play the .mpg in other programs, like Windows Media Player, the audio plays fine.
In DVD Workshop 2, under the Convert to Disk Template option is UNchecked. If I right-click on the mpg file within Workshop and choose Properties, it clearly says Dolby Digital Audio. Yet, in the Finish step, I "Create DVD Folders". When I open these folders in DVD Shrink to check the format of the audio, it shows No Audio Streams.
So... why is MediaStudioPro losing the Dolby Audio. Please help me correct this.
Regarding your quote above, when I go to Project PROPERTIES, I think under Templates --> Edit ---> Compression --> Audio, I only have MPEG and LPCM options. There is no Dolby Digital option. I don't really think this would apply in my situation however because I do not have the Convert to Disk Template option checked.
I don't understand why DVD Workshop 2 is losing the audio.
Thanks
