Background music help for DVD Picture show 2.0se

When I get my pictures all selected and then click on the background music I see the tree on the left side. I click on an cd and the songs do not show on the right. It is all blank. The drop down box on top says All formats so my mp3's should show up in the right field to choose. Any help?

Weird, try to copy some MP3's first to your hard drive and try again

That is what is strange, I loaded all my CD's to the hard drive and see them on the Tree side, but if I highlight a CD nothing shows on the right side where the songs should be listed?
