Title transitions

Post by DiscCoasterPro »

Hi all. Perhaps I'm missing something obvious. Is there a way to put transitions between titles. I have a short clip I put together as a "first play" in DVD Workshop. The video portion ends before a few titles I put in and some background music. Can I put transitions between the titles that continue on after the video? I was trying to put blank video fill in to match the title spots, but I thought I should ask so as not to reinvent the wheel here.

thanks,
dcp

No, the main track is the only track that transitions can be used.

The closest to this is using the animation for the text. I find using a cross fade animation works pretty good..

Hi everybody
I think the workaround given for crossfades 4 posts back will also be OK for titles which are to be tagged on after the video.

This is my first venture onto the forum -thanks to all for the many tips and solutions to problems! Very few of which I have encountered (famous last words!)
Probably because I followed the 'recommended proceedure from the start. Can't recommend the sticky too highly.

Hi DCP

In the video track you could use a colour clip as a background for your titles.
In titles animation select the ‘type’ then pressing the two ’TT,s’ will give you additional options.
