invalid parameter trying to import video

Hello video gurus..

I am using VS9 with a panasonic video dvd cam. I tried to import video and I receive the following error. "Invalid parameter". It see the files and "chapters" and I can view them on screen, however when I go to import them it craps out. I've tried using the patch posted on the site although it did not specifically say it addresses this issue.. (long shot I know), but still I receive the error.

I've written to the company.. no response yet.. we'll see. Can' t reach anyone on the "tech support line".. still waiting on hold right now.

Any thoughts?
