Ulead Photo Express 5 SE locks Windows 98 SE DK

There is apparantly an error in TREECTL.DLL :?:
IPE provoke an invalid pagefault in TREECTL.DLL.
Does anybody know how to solve this problem?

I installed PhotoExpress 5SE in XP Pro with SP1&2 on a fairly fresh install. The result was that PhotoExpress 5SE terminates when trying to startup. Its the same problem with TREECTL.DLL.

I've tried all different compatibility modes, and one some of them, I get the error message saying that it could not modify the background.

Why have you guys been so quiet about this problem? You had Photo Express 5 on your website less than 12 months ago.

What is the solution?

Don't know about PE 5 but PE 6 will not run on Win98SE.

Ulead Photo Express 4.0 and all previous programs run error-free on Win98/ME/XP-DK. :)
Ulead Photo Explorer 7/8 also run flawless :)
