error: Project content over limitation!

I know this has been posted before, but my situation is this....

When I have DVD Movie Factory try to compress it...it takes way too long. I have another program that is much quicker at compressing the project after it has been authored to vob's.

How do I tell it to ignore the fact that it is above 8.5 or 4.7GB's?

I have also heard that this limitation may be due to illegal activity, but my videos were recorded using my own camcorder. They are my own movies.

*** There was a previous version....maybe even DVD Workshop that did not have this limitation. I'm thinking it was DVD Movie Factory 2.0. Can anyone confirm this? I sold my copy and got this one...maybe I need to go back.

Why would you need to compress a project after it has been authored to VOB?

I allways compress my video in MSP to the right size, then I author to DVD with MF3.

It doesn't really matter why. This is simply how I do it and what I want to do. Plus, if I want, I can store some of my home videos (uncompressed vobs) until prices come down on dual layer disks.

I can't afford tons of hundred dollar programs.

The main thing is that Ulead didn't used to have this limitation in their DVD authoring.

They question is why would they take it out. I want a way around it so I can get back to what I am used to.
