How do I record just audo track from Video Capture 7 to PC

I’m trying to record just the various cut sound clips that I have edited on the video editor (from Media Studio Pro 7), but I can’t seem to find a way just to record the sound / audio track by itself.

I’m wanting to then transfer this audio file to cd or Ipod, and plan to use the various sound clips as part of my best man’s speech in early January.

Is this possible ?

The reason I’ve used video editor, is because, I have viewed images as well, and I have found it easy to cut a song down to the few seconds I require as part of my best mans speech.

I now need to save all these audio files audio file as one long audio file

I’ve tried the Audio recorder, but is seems to pause for a sec at some points as it records. I don’t know if that’s because my PC is playing the audio file, as it tried to save it via Audio Editor.

Also, the reduced volume (you move the volume line on the audio file) does not take effect when you are trying to record the audio file (say with my mic).
