Compared to Adobe Premier, How does DVD MovieFactory rate out of 5, with 5 being a no difference score???

How do I add a Composite Channel for Video Capture

Post by swalsh19 »

Hi,

I'm a newbie. I purchased a Hauppauge PVR-150 Capture Card based on a friends experience with the card. From what I have seen it captures maginicently.

I have captured video via GBPVR via Composite no problem I just can't seem to figure out in this program how to add a composite video input. Hopefully I can...

Thanks for your replies in advance!

Interesting comparison, since when is AP only a DVD authoring program? If you want a comparison, compare MSP8 with AP, I know the answer to that one

Ok, I know I'm comparing a VW Beetle to a Porsche. I was just curious though how DVDMovie Factory compared to Premiere in the aspects of which DMF is capable of doing.

I think you just set it to chanel 1. (I always use the Hauppauge software for the capture step.)

:( One bad thing about the Hauppauge card. It is MPEG only. MPEGs are not meant to be edited. Any editing that requires de-coding and re-coding (filters or transitions, etc.) will degrade the video quality. Even worse, I got the dreaded A/V sync problem when I made a DVD from the edited MPEGs. I ended-up buying a special-purpose MPEG editor called Womble MPEG Video Wizard.

You would still be comparing a car to a car, different thing alltogether. You are trying to compare two things that can't be compared.

How do you compare a video editing program to a DVD authoring program? Beats me.

What would your comparison be between XP Pro and Windows media player :?
