No Sound output

I am using DVD Workshop V1.3. I imported an AVI file into a project and played it back within the program. The video works fine, however there is no sound. Any suggestions? The audio output from the AVI is PCM compression, 32 KHz, 16 bit stereo

Well... I have had at least one file (I've forgotten what format) that would not preview the sound, but Workshop did convert it to valid DVD audio during the final render. So, you might try a quick-project to see if the final DVD (or DVD file) is OK.

Or, you could try extracting the audio to a WAV file if you have a program that will do that (video editing program, etc.). Then, use the WAV file for your DVD audio. (I'm using WS2, but I assume that WS1 can use a seperate audio file?)
