Program crashes

Hello all. I am kind of new into capturing/editing/rendering/burning home videos. However, I was able to do all that a couple of weeks ago with an hour long video. It all went through as expected and I was later able to watch the whole project on a dvd player. Great. However, I continued working on the project, now about an hour and a half long. However now I cannot render the document. Ten or twenty minues into the process, the program crashes and it exits windows. I have added memory, now at 2 gb ddr 400 on a amd athlon xp 3200 with a 160 gb harddisk, at least a third free, windows 2000 sp4 installed. I have tried to render it wholly, also partially. Same results. I can watch the entire project on the Studio windows with no problem. But when I try to render it, forget it! Any ideas what may be the problem? Thanks in advance, Juan.

Sort of an update. I installed the program in my partition with Windows XP HOme. Tried to render the video, same results. The funny thing is, I can watch the whole project on the screen with no problem whatsoever. However, nomatter how I try to render it, it crashes. There's really been no change in the system, other than adding 1 gb ram. I even removed it just for trying's sake. Same results. So any idea anybody? Thanks.
