Installing PhotoExpress 4.0 (upgrade)

I have purchased PE4.0 (Upgrade) after taking advice that this was the most suitable upgrade for IPhoto Plus (A programme I have been happy with for many years)

When I try and install on my new laptop, PE4.0 says it can not find any previous products to upgrade from and asks for the location of the installation or installation disk.

IPP is on a floppy drive so I had it copied onto a memory stick as the laptop has no 3.5" Floppy. From hear the IPP installed correctly, but entering the installation or the memory stick location intto the PE4.0 popup, it still fails to find the program, DESPITE it being one of the programs listed in the error message shown "....you must have one of the following installed...."


Why won't this upgrade recognise the original product?
