Having installed DVD Moviefactory if I don't have a DVD in the drive I keep getting a pop up window saying: "There is no disk in the drive. PLease insert a disk into drive D:
This is even when DVD Moviefactory is not running!! I cannot get rid of the pop up window unless I leave a DVD in the drive. Can anyone suggest why this is?
PLEASE HELP: Lead Data-Add: USISrv.exe - No Disk

No Disk Popup
I'm experiencing the same problem and the only way I have found to stop the popup is to end the usisrv.exe process in task manager. It would be nice if someone from Ulead could look into this and post a reply.

Unless you need the programs un-install the ulead quick-drop and
data-add programs. They monitor the cd/dvd's.
Other software on the machine can be conflicting with the cd/dvd writers.
Another cause is the drives cannot receive a drive reset command because
the drive select jumper(s) on the back of the drives are incorrect. (hardware issue).
One drive should be Master and the other Slave connected to the secondary disk controller set to UDMA2.
Hope this helps,

Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs.
Ulead data-add should be listed.
Also you can remove MF4 and all it's components and re-install it leaving out the quick-drop and data-add etc.
The add/remove may also let you modify the existing installation and choose the componenets to modify.
Don't forget to re-boot the machine to remove the resident drivers and refresh the operating system.
Hope this helps,

Nothing listed. Hmmm, i seem to remember something not looking right about that and perhaps i didn't install it. The Quick-drop icon is on the desktop and i've messed around with it but it didn't cause any problems. I don't have anything starting up automatically, and maybe that is why everything is ok.maddrummer3301 wrote:Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs.

Tried that. The only option is to uninstall and re-run the setup. The add/remove may also let you modify the existing installation and choose the componenets to modify.
Thanks for all the information on this!

Hi,
If you have "Data-Add" installed (which you do to get that error).
Right-Click on the Dvd drive and select "Properties"
Under the Properties Screen one of the Tabs should say "Data-Add"
Click on that tab and there will be some selections to check on/off.
One of those options will cause that popup.
Something else (another program probably) is accessing the drive and data-add is also monitoring the dvd drive.
Try changing those settings.
Hope this helps,
MD
