VS9 cannot work with ChineseStar XP

While adding title to the clip in VS9 using ChineseStar XP, the Chinese character did not appear. When change to English input in the ChineseStar, all alphabets keyed in appear in the clip. However, the ChineseStar works well with the older version of VS8.
Is this a compatibility problem between VS9 and ChineseStar XP, or something else? Can someone help me.
