i tried to import VIDEO TS files from decrypted DVDs, the video is ok, but no audio. does anyone knows why?
when capturing from dv or mpeg everything is ok.

Audio on the DVD was almost undoubtedly Dolby AC-3 of some flavour and VS 8 cannot deal with Dolby without a plug-in. If it is still available, it would cost $29.95. But for an extra $20, you can upgrade to VS9 which is a far better program (less buggy than VS8) and it comes with ability to handle Dolby included.
