Is there any way to resize the VS8 application window

Post by breevesdc »

This is driving me crazy. I really like this software and I'm in the process of converting a Windows Movie Maker storyboard over to VS8. It would be very helpful to have them side-by-side on my screen while I work. But there is no way (that I have been able to find) to resize the VS8 window. It is maximized the entire time it has focus. This is very annoying. Does anyone have any tricks on how to resize the VS8 window? Thanks.

I think the best you'll be able to do is Alt-Tab between the two applications. Or use this as an excuse to finally get that dual-monitor setup...

Thanks for the quick reply. If any of you Ulead programmers are reading this, I hope that you will fix this "feature" to work like most every other PC application in the world. The application window size should be adjustable.

I'm considering an upgrade to VS9. Would any of you currently using VS9 please tell me if this issue has been resolved in the latest version? Thanks.

breevesdc,

Nope, it's not. Keep ALT-TABing.
