Main Menu can only fit 4 clips?

Post by And Rew »

I am trying to fit 6 clips onto one menu page in MF4, currently i only have templates for 4 clips, how can i adjust it so all clips fit on the one page rather than being split over two pages? Are there any more templates available for download?

Which version are you running? In the FULL version, there are templates that let you have up to 12 Thumbnails on a menu.

If you only have limited templates, then that might be a restriction of a Trial or "SE" version...

The second disc is probably extra content...

Have you tried clicking on the customize button. Then click on the drop down menu and choose layout. I think MF4 defaults to the Scene Frame in the drop down. You should have several layouts to choose from, up to 12 menu buttons.

I'm not sure, but probably has templates, sample movies, audio, images in it. I purchased the ESD version, and had the following files:

dmf4_upgadv_e
dmf4_up1_e
dmf4_up2_e
dmf4_contnet

They are all executable files (exe).
Can you open the second disc, using windows explorer? Try right clicking on your CD drive with the second disc in it, and selecting Explore. You should be able to see the files on the disc. If so just clicking on them should start the install.

There are also updates to MF4: Go here to Download
The Hauppauge and Terratec are only needed if you have those devices..
