Changing DPI settings of Images in PEv8.5

I am trying to change the dpi values of images in Photo Explorer v8.5 without success.

I have even tried single images and all that seems to occur is the file size changes usually increases but the dpi setting does not change.

The reason for this change is that my printer will penalise if the images presented for printing are not set to 250 dpi and it takes too long in Photoshop, even if you can get the batch file to work in CS2.

I have also tried some of the default settings in PE and they dont work either.

Is there something wrong with PE v8.5 or is it me.

Any help would be good.
