I have 2 questions. Is there a way to use a different time duration on the audio fade in and out on a clip? For example, can I fade in for .5 seconds and fade out for 3 seconds?
Can I have different fade in/out times for different clips, or is the time set for the entire project? For example, if I have 5 clips and on 2 of them, I only want a 1 second fade in/out while on the others I'd like a 2 second fade in/out.
Thank you.

Yes this can be done.
Hope that makes sense...
- Click on the Audio Tab
- You should now be in Timeline mode.
- Click on the Speaker located at the bottom left.
- Click on the Audio track you want to fade.
- Now you should see the Rubber Band. A line that runs down the center of the audio track. This represents the volume.
- Mouse over the rubber band and your cursor will change to an arrow. This will allow you to add a point to the rubber band.
- Add a second point about .5 seconds to the Right (if your wanting a fade in)
- Mouse over the first point, and your cursor will change to a hand.
- Now you can drag this up or down. Drag it down.
- Your audio will fade in for the .5 secs.
- To fade out just do the opposite.
Hope that makes sense...
