Just like there are more ways to obtain answers and help with your problems on this forum , there are ways to put more then one song in your slideshows.
  1. You can add more then 1 slideshow to your timeline. For each slideshow use a different song.
  2. To use the fit song to slideshow, the total time of your slides must be at least as long as your music. So doing some math to calculate the duration of your images is neccesary. Also you must take into account your transitions, as they overlap your slides, and deduct from the time they are displayed. This then decreases the total length.
  3. You can use a video editing program such asAudacity to put several songs together. Then use that as your background music.
  4. To find help and answers on this topic and more you can use the Search Feature. That's how came up with the answer for you..
Hope that helps...:)

Adding more than 1 song to a single slideshow

Thank you for your reply.
Yes I know that you can do that but my question is adding more than 1 song to single slideshow as it contain more that 200 photos and it is annoying hearing the same repeated song.

Ok then the workaround is in #3 above, using another program, like Audacity to make one long song out of several small ones.

Much appreciated for your help. It looks like that is the only way. Perhaps in the next version it becomes a reality.

i've heard somewhere that the next version might be capable of add more songs to the slideshow. let's just hope....

there is also an alternative, if you are using MovieFactory 4.

You can create the slideshow with no audio and export it to MPEG using the EXPORT MOVIE.

Load the MPG and use Enhance Video, under the Audio tab, you can add upto 10 songs per video file.
