No audio when importing from a dvd

I'm using version 4, and dont get any audio when i import footage from a dvd. I had this working previously, but this is a fresh install on my laptop, and i cant figure what the hecks is going on. It also doesnt work on my standalone either for some reason.

The source dvd's play fine on either machine. Any help would be appreciated.

I also have the same problem of not getting any audio after importing a DVD. I have been going nuts trying to get this to work.

Well, for some reason, it started working again for me. I cant figure
out why.
