Navigating through menus, background music restarts

Hi all,
I'm using DVD MovieFactory 4 and I have 2 videos with 20 chapters each. I am NOT using "motion menus".
I want to have a unique background music for the main menu and the chapter menus, playing continuously.
I've tryed and used the "background music for all menus" option, but it doesnt work like I need: music restarts each time I change menu or I go to the next menu page.
Is there a way to make me happy? Can I import my project to another software that does what I want?

Not that I know of.
Whenever you switch menu's even on a commercial dvd the music
doesn't continue to play.

I have more than one commercial DVD that works like that: one unique music that plays continuously while navigating menus.
Also, it should be easy to do that. I mean, I cannot see any technical reason why it could not work like that.
