Idiot needs help
I have 164 photos and want to make a slide show with music. I can add background music but only one track and when it ends it starts again half way through and continues like that. I want to put three different tracks on the slide show. I am told at PC world that I can but can't and can't find the answer on a tutorial. Someone please help. I do need it explained in Janet & John style. Thanks. Hopefully Sam

In the bottom left of the slideshow creation screen one can change the
options for the duration of the slideshow to FIT to the duration of the
music.
It's in the manual.
As of right now one can only put 1 song per slideshow.
Or one can join music files using an external editor and then
import the combined audio file
or
Create 1 slideshow per music file.
Make sure to have applied all the latest patches to the program from the
ulead website. The original releases had bugs in the slideshow arena.

You don't need an expensive audio editor to join more than one audio
file together. The important thing is to keep all the audio files at the same
bit depth and sampling frequency.
For wav files, DVD that is 16bit 48khz stereo or mono.
For Mp3's the sampling frequency varies, I use 44,100hz at 256kbs which
may be overkill but creates good music.
MovieFactory will convert MP3's so you can use an audio editor to import
the Mp3's into Nero wave editor and then export them as either a wav file
or a Mp3 file. (Make sure not to choose the Mp3 Pro format).
Nero wave editor can be downloaded as the trial version (Package 1).
http://www.nero.com/
or a direct link
http://www.nero.com/us/neroue-prog.php
You can also purchase Nero Ultra Edition at any local store.
It also does slideshows/dvd's etc.
To use the Nero Wave Editor simply goto
File > Open
Then if you want to insert the file in front of the existing file goto
"Edit > Insert File"
I think you put the Cursor line wherever you want to insert the file,
either at the beginning or at the end.

A nice, free sound editor like Audacity might do what you want. Combine the three tracks into one and use that track for your slide show.
