Have been working for a while on several projects. Recently having great difficulty in attempting to preview during work as the program halts then crashes. I have closed down just about every 'background' application there is. The program has had the patch applied. Even tried rebooting after crash, closing down un-needed apps then running VS9. Same problem. Does anybody know if there is a fix or patch for this problem.
My system. WinXP home, P4-2.4Gb, 512Mb Ram, 250Gb HDD, 64Mb videocard.
Thank you
VideoStudio 9 continually crashing

Hi
This happened to me once.
The reason was that VS (for any unexplained reason) didn't like one of my source clip.
It took some time for me to identify.
The way I did was cutting my project into two halves. And one of them did crash as well, as the other did'nt crash any more.
Indicated that the problem was in the first half.
And repeated this until I found the guilty clip.
Then I re-captured the wrong bit, and put in in replacement of the guilty into my project.
And everything when back to normal.
Do not know if that's the reason of your crash
Good luck anyway
