Colour Correction

Has anyone experience of using this? I tried it out on a slightly dark section of video and the result, on the VS9 screen, looked to degrade the video picture quality?

Thanks for any advice in advance

Hi

I have used this feature in some cases with good results.
But you have to twick the parameters in or to find the good ones.
And make sure you adjust correctly those parameters for both the start and the end of the clip.

Dunno about Vsn 9, but on v8 I use the autoexposure filter to bring up darker areas with better results. However, since the signal/noise ratio in dark areas is higher, you are bound to get some apparent loss of quality when you bring up the picture.
