How to update MF 3 SE?

I'm having a problem burning a DVD when adding multiple edited MPEGs that do not exceed the disk limit. After a lengthy conversion, it says that there is not enough disk space on the media, when the file is only 3.85 GB (or around there). Looks like there is an update that fixes it, but MF 3 update says "Cannot find MovieFactory 3". Can anyone help?

Any why are both the knowledge base and the technical support forum (official one) not working?

you can only install the Update 300P01.... the DL patch is for Full versions only. Please read the heading.
