Opening files with ext. WBZ, in PI8

Would like to open files with ext. WBZ, in PI8, for use in photo editing. Files are located on my hard drive. Used folder option, to change ext. WBZ, to open with PI, but files will not open. Can they be changed to open with PI, and if so, how so. Want to use images strictly for my own personal use, in editing photos.

wbz files are Webshots proprietary format files and (unless I am mistaken) it is not legal to copy, edit or otherwise use them as per their EULA. I have no idea what type of image they are 'underneath' or what you would use to edit them.
