Help! ADVANCE Mpeg Settings

Is there a way to make all the features that are greyed out under the ADVANCE mpeg settings tab in the mpeg encoder on DVD Workshop 2.0 to not be greyed out? Specifically the framerate settings, pulldown, and type of MPEG so you can set up more efficient templates. There are some mpeg file standards that are very valid to the creation of NTSC DVD production that Workshop will simply not accept, but would be force to accept if you could setup such a template. However, everything is greyed out. What good is that ADVANCE setting if everything is greyed out?

these advance setting is available for VideoStudio, MSP, MovieFactory, and WOrkShop. However, not all settings in the Advance MPEG encoding is applicable to the each software.

for MSP, i think almost all of those settings are enabled since MSP can input/output several formats whereas WorkShop only outputs to DVD standards.

Does this help?

First make sure you have blank media in the drive.

Second, to turn on the Advanced options go to
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Ulead Systems\Ulead DVD Workshop\2.0\DVDWS.ini

[VIODRIVER]
Advance=1 <----Add this line
