a problem with combaining scenes

hello everybody,
i am using the ulead video studio 9 program and i can't find the option in the program to combaine scenes wbut only to split them.
thanks a lot for the help.

There is no option to combine scenes in VS9.

When you use the Split by Scene to split up a clip, then there is the option of Joining clips that VS has detected as seperate scenes. For example VS may split up a clip to where one scene has 2 or 3 seconds followed by or proceeded by a 10 second scene. You may decide that the 2 or 3 second scene should belong with the one preceeding or following it. You can then Join it with one of them...

The simple method of combining videos is to place them next to each other in the timeline display. If you want to create a separate single video file of the joined videos, use Share/Create Video File.
