2 DVD on Dual Layer

Post by jaqkar »

Hi There

I am new to the forum and to the world of DVD authoring. I was wondering if you guys can give me some suggestions on how to accomplish putting 2 dvd's on a dual layer disc using DVD Workshop 2. I have 2 seasons of a series on 2 DVD's and I want to put both on one DVD dual layer. I want to create a custom menu where I can choose either Season 1 or 2 and then it will play the original menu from the season. I cannot see a way for DVDWS2 to import the original menu's. Is this possible?

I believe you will have to re-write them.

"Open DVD" is a feature that some authoring programs have like Sonic's
'MyDVD" or "DVDit".
If the 2 DVD's you have where authored with That feture you might
be able to acomplish the task.
As far as I know WS does not support "Open DVD" so like the Devil says
you"ll have to start from scratch.
Good Luck

Having another piece of their software I keep getting loads of emails from
Dimadsoft regarding one of their programs named DVD Remake.
I haven't got it but in those emails they keep sending me they claim that it will combine DVD's into one.

You could take a look at their website to see if it fulfills your needs.

Yes, DVD Remake Pro has the ability to combine up to 4 DVD's (if space allows it). Very useful tool (imho).
