Greetings all, I hope someone here can help me.
I purchased PI 10 on Sept 28th 2004 --
I registered the product on Sept 29 - and got this nice email from member_us@ulead.com.tw (which it says NOT to respond to) thanking me for registering. Now I'm having a problem with my PI 10 - When I go to support at ulead - it says I have no registered product - When I try to register it - It says the serial number is already in use -- Yeah, by me!
I can't contact tech support via email because it says I have no registered product!
I can find no other email listing for Ulead.
My PI 10 issue is I needed to re-install it. On the install it hung up right at the end and just locked up. It appeared to have installed now it crashes all my programs -
It won't let me Un-install via the Add/Remove - says some file is missing.
When I try to re-install it, I get a message saying PI10 is already installed and I need to remove it first.
I'm on Windows 2000 - I seem to be going in circles here. I simply want to manually remove it from my system and try a complete re-install. Yes, I have the latest patch.Y es I tried copying all the files to a separate directory on my HD and tried to reinstall from there, as well as the CD, which I physically have.
I've used PI since version 4 !!! Always updating to the latest version. I have NEVER had this kind of problem with Ulead.
Suggestions?

When you registered your PI last year, did you create a user account or did you just register your software?
If my memory does not fail me, in order to register a product, you have to create a user account first.
Are you telling us that you are logging into your user account and there is no registration of your serial number shown? I find that odd but things do happen. For Ulead to state that your serial number is already in use, it must be logged in their database.
Do you have a copy of the e-mail sent by Ulead last year?
I'm sure this can be sorted if you can supply some detail.
