Hi! Folks!
I'm a (very) Newbie. I've been using Pinnacle for some time. Finally got totally frustrated and have now just bought VideoStudio. So far I have been very, very impressed.
The problem I have is that I can't see captured audio information. I have a Canon DV camera. From the documentation I expected to see a 'rubber-band' on the timeline with the Video Track.
I've tried capturing with both DVD Type 1 & 2 but doesn't seem to fix the problem.
Any ideas??

To find audio information about a particular file, right click a file within Video Studio and it should give both the video information and, at the bottom of the box, the audio information.
As for the rubber banding of audio, when you are in the edit page of VS9, then at the bottom is the storyboard/timeline. To the immediate left are three icons: the top one is a small film strip (this is the storyboard); the next one down is a sideways ruler with little arrow (timeline); and the one under that is a speaker icon, which is the audio view. If you click on that, then any audio you have added, plus the original audio, will show in their respective tracks, and you can adjust the audio levels within any of the tracks by using the rubber band effect.

Ken,
Thank you so much!!! I was clicking the 'Audio' tab and thought that was it. I hadn't understood about the icon at te bottom.
You have saved me considerable time.
Be kind to yourself,
Alan
