DVD Motion Menus
Anyone figure out a way to make motion/animated DVD menus, instead of static background images, in UVS 8??? I'm sure I could turn to other software, but just hoping there's a way, now or in future, for this in UVS!

MyDVD by Sonic is what I use. Has motion menus and a number of other nice features.
As an aside - there is a thread here regarding pulsating pixels in rendered stills - I have discovered that MyDVD handles jpeg images better than VS8. It has a "slideshow" module that handles stills separately from video, and the result is noticeably better. DVD Workshop probably does also.

I use Deluxe Suite 6; it has lots of nice features (including Fit-to DVD - just import an avi file from VS8 or anywhere and it will automatically be encoded to fit snugly on a 4.7 Gb DVD.jwarner wrote:Which version of MyDVD Studio do you use - Deluxe Suite 6, Deluxe 6, or the standard MyDVD Studio 6?
They range in price from $70 - $150 but there's an upgrade special on now to reduce that to $35 - $75.
Does it co-habit OK with UVS8?
And yes, it cohabits very nicely with VS8. You still really need VS; MyDVD does have a capturing and editing module, but that is not its strength - it is frighteningly basic.
