Help. Lots o problems!!

Hello,
After installing the programs, I tried to run a DVD using Uleads DVD player. Video was....okay. No sound though.
I checked all my sound settings, and nothing is muted (In dvd player or Creative Sound mixer).
I tried running the patch (4.3?) and it says it can't find Movie Factory installed on my system????
Anybody have any ideas on what can be wrong? Any help at all would be appreciated.

Edit: The software came bundled with my DVD Burner and is not the trial version. At least, it doesn't say trial version anywhere.
