transition duration

In MSPro V8 is there a way to automatically have the default transition duration of a certain time (ie 1 second)? So that each time I overlap 2 clips, automatically the overlap duration is always the same..

Put your sources in the Project Tray's Storyboard then use the Add to Timeline context menu item. The resulting menu will give you more options than you can imagine.

That said having such a setting in Preferences has already been suggested to Ulead for inclusion in a service pack.
