Using UDMF 3
When i try to create a dvd disk, on "add media", i click "add video files", i get the following error "mydocuments\myvideo\avi" is not accessable.
i have used avi files before with UDMF 3
Can anyone help?

I think you are missing out the filename. shouldn't it read
"
c:\ mydocuments\myvideo\
filename. avi"

thats what i get

Firstly we need to establish if the fault is in Movie Factory or in the AVI file itself. Can you open the "avi" file directly (ie away from Movie Factory) ?

yeh, i can open the avi file. i have tried a few others and its the same. i have also copied the file to my desktop and tried to add it to UMF from there, no luck.

AVI come in many "flavours" which too many may seem misleading.
What is the source of your AVI. It may be that you need to convert it to a DVD compliant format before you are able to use it.
Have you an editor program such as VideoStudio ?

i might try for a fresh installation. it is the same sort of avi final i have used when i last had umf on my pc.
