"Port Resolver Module has" a problem. Me too!

Post by tatras »

While producing a Disk Image File of about a sixty-five min program (with 4 titles), the action stopped and I received the above error message. It stopped when it had burned 62% and was on title 3 of four titles. It was being saved to C drive and not a disk. Does anyone have any clues?

Just an hour before I tested the DVD maker by burning just two of the four files directly to a DVD and had no problem. (The test was to a different burner, though. That shouldn't make any difference, huh?)

I am using Video Studio 9 on a Win XP system. UVS reported that rqmts for this production were: Disc Image, 3.8 gb, file space 45.5 gb

Ok you're saving to the "C" Drive but... where are the 'originals' are they also on the "C" Drive or located elsewhere?

Thanks for your interest!

The "originals" are also on the C: drive.

It rather sounds like a windows system error, have you checked the
Windows error log.

Right click "my computer"
Manage
Expand "event viewer"
Then check the "Application" and the "System" folders for anything with a
red circle containing a white "x".
Double click it to bring up a dialog box, there you will see a hyperlink
that reads http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.
That hyperlink will also pass along some variables to the microsoft website to provide some feedback on the error.
