I'm using MSP7 and have installed the updates. When I try to lay the audio from track two alongside the audio from track one, I get a popping sound. Separately, both tracks work fine, but combined together, the popping sound is continuous. Very annoying. Any thoughts?
note: The audio is coming directly from a video file, not from an MP3 file.

Try reducing the level on both tracks to about 50%. I'm not sure how MSP's audio mixer works, but generally when you mix two or more audio tracks they are digitally added (summed) together.
If the sum exceeds 0dB, you will get distortion. At best you'll get clipping (squared-off waves). At worst, the digital "counter" will roll-over (like an odometer rolling-over). This will result in severe distortion (maybe "popping?).
