Choppy audio on copy of copy
I am using the JVC HD10 camrecorder and the JVC 40000 DVHS vcr. I have the boxed version of Mediastudio Pro 8. I was trying a short 4 min test using clips which were down loaded from the JVC HD 10 cam recorder using the Pixla hd capture utility that came with the camera since it will automatically save scenes as individual clips. These were then inserted in a time line and converted by smp8 to the format it uses. I added one additional audio in a wav format. I added the album transition in the beginning and the rest were just slight overlaps between scenes using the default disolve transition. After I created the video file as a mpeg transport format I then exported it to the jvc camrecorder using the IE1394 connection. It seemed to play ok on the computer and when I played it directly form the camrecorder to my tv via a component connection. However, when I connected the camrecorder to the JVC 40000 dvhs via the IE1394 firewire connection and tried to copy it the sound became choppy and lost synchronization. Some of the video was choppy also. I haven't tried copying directly from my computer to the DVHS since they are in different rooms though that will probably be my next step. Any suggestions on settings etc that I should use? I haven't seen this particular problem when I searched.
