I am using Ulead VideoStudio 9
and bought and installed the MPG4 option
( I bought it when I had VideoStudio 8 )
but it neither shows up in the codecs list
nor can I import MPG4 files.
Anybody has had this problem
or know of a possible explanation...?
( And hopefully a solution...! )

I have not tried the mpeg 4 plugin as yet, the name may be a little misleading but I think it is an Avi compressor. Others will hopefully confirm or correct me.
From the capture tab select Avi as format, then look at the options cogwheel, the mpeg 4 should be listed in the compression section.
Using the Make Movie Manager you should also be able to locate the codec when creating an Avi template.
