In video tutorials for V8 there is a reference to title and overlay libraries. Where can I find them?
Also I wish to have titles where words appear one after another as can be done in Microsft Powerpoint presentations. Is this possible?

All libraries are located up the right hand side of the preview screen - where the "video" library is shown as default - click on the very small downward pointing arrow to open a drop down to make your selection - - but when you select the "title" tab at the top of your screen the title library should open by default - maybe you have something wrong on your installation.

Yes you can have letters/words appear one at a time in your titles in UVS8
