Is there a plugin available to use Mpeg 4 in VS 8?

Not that I'm aware of. The MPEG4 plug-in offered by Ulead is for registered users of Video Studio 9...
I think that It might work with VS8 however to get the plug-in(for free) you must be a registered user of VS9.
If you can afford it, I would recommend upgrading to VS9 (or at least give it whirl and download the 30 day free trial), It is much better then VS8.
