BURNER IN USE FOR ANOTHER APPLICATION - FIRST TIME USER

HELP!!
FIRST TIME USER -
I can get to the point where I appear to be burning a DVD-VIDEO file to a DVD-R disc but at 65% completed, I get error message - BURNER IN USE FOR ANOTHER APPLICATION
None of the other drives on my PC are in use and I cannot understand which device it is referring to??????????

I am using DVD MOVIE FACTORY V4

Probably Nero, Roxio, or some other "packet writing" software has hyjacked your burner. You can try de-activating whatever is confilcting.

Or, choose Create DVD Folders, and uncheck Record To Disc. This will create the VIDEO_TS & AUDIO_TS folders on your hard drive. Then you can use your regular burning software to copy these files to the actual DVD.

Remove Ulead's Data Add program if you want to retain the use of previously used packet writing software.

This problem has been corrected in the 4.03 patch....
