Capture with WinTV PVR USB MPEG

Does anyone know how to get Media Studio Pro to do direct capture from a WinTV PVR USB2 ? The Media Studio FAQ's say ..

Q: Does MediaStudio Pro 7 support MPEG-2, DV and IEEE 1394?
A: Yes. MediaStudio Pro 7 offers complete MPEG-2 support. Using Ulead MPEG.Now MPEG software compression technology, MediaStudio Pro 7 can capture IBP frame MPEG-2 video if the capture card supports YUV or RGB data capture. In addition, it can perform MPEG-2 frame-accurate editing and output high-quality MPEG-2 files.

I have NO idea if the WINTV device is a YUV or RGB data capture device.

No, its not. It is strictly an MPEG capture device with a hardware MPEG encoder.

Check out the SHSPVR forum for other utilties that can be used for capture.

I haven't heard of too many people having success with the patch for capture with Ulead.
