Question re: Ulead Photo Exlorer 7.0 Pro

I have Ulead Photo Explorer 7.0 Pro...and want to make a slide show that can be used at my Photo Club. They use a laptop hooked to a TV. In playing around with the program I like the transitions but they are much too fast to even know what they have done from one pix to the next. Is there any way to slow down the transition effects? Thanks.
