Thanks for the information.
Ive tried it with 16bit colour but im using a dual monitor Matrox G450 Graphics card. It only lets me use certain screen resolutions for dual monitoring which has to be 32 bit.
Ive been using the card with MSP 7 at screen resolution 1280 x 1024 at 16 - 24 and 32 bit colour and works fine but cant on MSP8
The only resolution that works on msp8 is 2650 x 1024 at 32bit colour but is really small on the monitors.
Ive downloaded the latest matrox driver with no luck.
I think it may be something that ulead will have to fix.
Any more information to help me would be much appreciated.
Cheers Andy

Let me guess. Perhaps you have it set for using both source/preview window AND an external window/monitor/whatever? Some cards do not like this (including the Matrox G-nnn series). If you set it for one or the other, but not both, it should behave normally. Alternatively, if you undock the source/preview window and make it much larger, it may start to behave.
I believe this is a graphics card issue.

Thanks Devil you have sorted me out.
I was using the supplied template with msp8.0.
I have now made the source window larger and bingo it is now perfect.
Maybe this is something ulead shoud include in their readme information.
By the way Id just like to say that my parents recently emigrated to Paphos in Cyprus...
You have a beautiful Island.
Thanks again Devil
